Mount Baker 30th Legendary Banked Slalom Recap

This has to be the most epic event of all time in Snowboarding!

Last weekend had it all!  We had rain, snow, clouds, sun and even rainbows as far as the weather was concerned but all of those elements made up for one smooth ass course!  The walls and berms were high and the snow was fast!  So many amazing moments watching old and young compete for glory.  A few of the Hightide boys ran nice and fast with Rube Goldberg taking 4th in the Pro Masters and Gabe Langlois taking 2nd place in the Mid Masters division.

We can't thank Mount Baker, the event organizers, and the course builders enough!

Thank you snowboarding!

Rube Goldberg mid course on his second finals run.  He actually rag dolled into the powder right before this and Nixo cheered him on to get a stylish photo for the camera.  Nice one Rube looking real good!

Rube in the start gate.  There was a course hold as there was a timing fumble so Rube had to hang tight in the start shack for a good 10 mins before getting to drop.  Nervous of steel with that guy!

Kevin Sansalone riding real smooth into a 5th place finish in the Pro Masters division.

Hellore!
